Our mission

To help any reader understand a story in 360 degrees: what happened, why it happened and how it affects the daily lives of Cubans, on and off the island.

We don't just repeat what others publish. Every story comes with background, figures, practical examples and, when needed, an explanation of what it means for your money, your paperwork or your family.

Who is behind it

Cuba al Detalle 360 is an independent digital outlet made by Cubans, with its newsroom in Florida, United States. It is written and edited by the Cuba al Detalle 360 team, which follows the news from the island and the Cuban community abroad every day.

Articles are signed “Cuba al Detalle 360 Newsroom” and the outlet is responsible for everything it publishes. Guest contributors may occasionally write; their work will always carry their name.

Independence and funding

This project does not belong to any party, government, company or organization. It is funded by advertising shown through Google AdSense and may in the future accept voluntary reader contributions.

Advertisers do not decide or influence what we publish. Ads are always labeled “Advertisement”.

How we work

We clearly separate news, analysis and opinion. We cite and link our sources and correct errors visibly. Full details are in our Editorial policy.
